I was on Spring Break this week so Scott and I decided to take a mini vacation down to Charleston, SC. It's so stankin' beautiful down there. We were only there for a few days since we were trying to get our house under control from the wedding. We also wanted to be back in time for Easter services :)
My precious husband...how could I not love that face?
Speaking of Easter - the bunny will be visiting us tonight!
I know it's cheesy, but my mom has made my dad an Easter basket for the past 35 years. So I made one for Scott too. What's inside:
*golf shirt
*golf magazines
*golf balls
*gum
*beef jerky
*chicken wing pretzel bites
*gummy bears (he likes the ones in the "gold bag")
*milano cookies
*and a ton of other chocolate
And of course I had to make one for Rosco!
I don't know about y'all, but lately (especially since I got married) I've been obsessed with monogram. Well, there is a Facebook store called Prep Obsessed where you can buy all things preppy and monogrammed. I'm obsessed with it!
If you "like" them on Facebook, you'll get notified of their flash sales. And it's super cheap too!
Look at these adorable earrings! I only paid $19 for them and they were free shipping! If you're into preppy and monogrammed, you should definitely check them out on Facebook.
And now it's time for a giveaway!
When we get back from Spring Break we will be doing fractions. The only problem is, our math series doesn't cover fractions - at all. I needed something that was going to introduce the concept of fractions as well as help them to practice and use those skills they learned. So I made this pack:
It includes up to seven days of lesson plans, anchor charts, whole group sorts and interactive notebook activities and I'm giving it away free for a limited time! If you would like to snag yourself one, CLICK HERE.
Don't forget to link up with DoodleBugs to talk about your Five for Friday!
As always, I hope y'all have a fabulous weekend and a Blessed Easter!
Ashley, I LOVE that your mom makes a basket for your dad and that you're continuing the tradition with your husband! I'm a pouty girl today because my husband is off doing rafting things and both my boys are far away.I think I'll eat a few chocolate eggs from their Easter baskets! Your fraction unit looks great!
ReplyDeleteI love that your mom has made a basket for your dad every year. What a sweet tradition to continue! Your monogramed accessories have me drooling! I'd like to find those in my Easter basket instead of chocolate!
